Clover Origins Storage — Inventory Management Guide

Clover Origins Storage — Inventory Management Guide

Clover Origins inventory and storage guide: what to keep (orbs, crystals, keys), what to sell, when to clean up and how to manage space through the Update 0.5 loot flood.

Inventory

Inventory rules that keep the Update 0.5 loot flood manageable and protect items you will regret vendoring.

Storage mistakes in Clover Origins are expensive precisely because the valuable drops are rare — the keep-list below is short on purpose.

Quick answer

Keep progression items unconditionally: orbs (Lich, Wind, Dark), Dungeon Keys and Black Crystals. Sell duplicate low-tier gear. The Update 0.5 code wave also floods you with spins — spend rather than hoard them.

The never-sell list

Five item classes to protect.

Dungeon Keys

Base, Fire, Water and Diamond keys gate instance content. Banked keys are banked progression.

Black Crystals

The Black Market currency. Werewolf farming sessions add up; they only gain value.

Spirit fragments

Wind and Fire fragments (10% dungeon drops) feed the Sylph and Salamander lines. Partial stacks are progress, not clutter.

Current-build gear

Anything your active build equips, including the Spear/Boxing Gloves tier if you rotate weapons.

Safe to sell

What is genuinely disposable.

Outleveled gear

Vendor anything 10+ levels under you that is not on the keep-list. Early Necklaces/Belts lose relevance fast.

Duplicate consumables beyond session needs

Heals and buff items past a session's worth convert to Yen you will spend on spins anyway.

Quest leftovers

Completed quest items with no listed use have no hidden purpose in the current build.

Managing the code-wave flood

September's bounty creates its own storage problem.

Spins: spend, don't store

300+ free Grimoire/Race/Broom Spins expire never — but hoarding them delays the build decisions they exist to enable. Roll, lock, move on.

Yen: convert to value

A million banked Yen is potential; Spear purchases and spin top-ups make it actual.

Buff codes: strategic bank

Unlike spins, timed boosts benefit from storage — redeem DGHOUL!/BUGFIXES16! only when a farm session is planned.

A pre-session inventory routine

Two minutes that prevent every storage regret.

Sell pass

Outleveled gear and surplus consumables to the vendor. If a stack survived three sessions untouched and is not on the keep-list, it is Yen now.

Session loadout

Pull exactly what today's loop needs — dungeon keys for dungeon days, boost codes for farm days. Travel light, waste nothing.

Storage questions this build does not answer

Known gaps, stated honestly.

No bank, no expansions

No off-character storage and no purchasable inventory upgrades exist in the Update 0.5 build. Inventory discipline is the only system.

Stack limits

Fragments and crystals stack; gear does not. The keep-list stays short partly because unstackables consume slots fastest.

Storage FAQ

Inventory questions.

Is there a bank/storage system?

The current build runs on inventory management only — no off-character bank. That makes the keep-list discipline above essential.

I sold my orb — can I recover it?

No. Orbs are consumed or gone; a sold Lich Orb means re-farming the 5% drop.

How often should I clean inventory?

Every ~10 levels and before reroll sessions — both milestones generate sellable leftovers.
