Quick answer

Clover Origins runs on standard Roblox controls (WASD move, click attack, keybind skills). Everything menu-driven — codes, traits, spins — lives behind the left-side Menu button's tabs.

Core movement and combat

Standard Roblox inputs — what that means in practice.

Move / jump

WASD to move, Space to jump. A dash unlocks through progression and later upgrades to Dash V2; both bind to a movement key by default.

Attack and skills

Click or press the attack input for your weapon swing; grimoire skills sit on number-key slots. Skill loadout changes automatically with your equipped magic.

Camera

Right-drag to orbit, scroll to zoom. Lock-on helps in boss arenas where bosses circle — Lich and Yuno both punish static play.

The Menu button and its tabs

Almost every system is one Menu-deep.

Stats screen

Your stat allocation view. Keep it open after a Stat Reset so points land in the right lanes for your build.

Inventory

Gear, materials and orbs. Boss drops (Lich Orb, Wind Orb, Black Crystals) accumulate here — nothing is auto-consumed.

Screens outside the Menu

NPC-driven systems and their locations.

Trait Gacha NPC

Near the starting safe zone. Trait rerolls happen here with Trait Spins — Berserker Instinct and Critical Genius are the rolls worth keeping.

Grimoire Tower (Wizard NPC) (Wizard NPC)

The level-50 magic unlock and all subsequent grimoire rerolls.

Quest tracker

Left-side overlay listing accepted quests. Accept same-area quests together and turn them in at one NPC to cut travel.

UI habits that save time

Small routines veterans run daily.

Code check first

Open Info → code box at session start; codes expire at updates and the tracker list changes weekly.

Buff timing

Activate Double EXP/Luck windows from the inventory only when standing at your farm spot — the countdown starts immediately.

Post-fight inventory scan

Boss kills drop 1–3 items; a five-second check prevents vendoring a Black Crystal stack by accident.

Mobile and console specifics

The same UI on different inputs.

Touch controls

Virtual joystick plus tap-to-attack; skill buttons mirror the number-key slots. The code box works identically — tap the Info tab, paste, confirm.

Controller layout

Roblox's default gamepad bindings apply: stick moves, face buttons attack and jump, d-pad cycles skills. Boss circling is easier on stick for many players.

Performance tip

Dungeon waves are the heaviest scene on mobile; lowering other players' visibility settings keeps frame pacing stable during AoE bursts.

Controls FAQ

Quick interface answers.

Can I rebind keys?

Roblox core inputs follow platform defaults; Clover Origins skill slots are fixed number keys. Mobile and console players get equivalent touch/controller prompts.

My screen feels cluttered — what can I hide?

The quest tracker and chat are the only movable clutter; keep both visible during boss routes for timer and callouts.
